Area 42 Book Drive Big Win

One of our customers was kind enough to donate a large box of Dragon Magazine, Dungeon Magazine and White Dwarf Magazine back issues. We are slowly listing this on our Amazon Storefront but we wanted to let everyone know that we had them. So if you have a specific issue that you are looking for, please let us know and we will check to see if we have it. It is not a complete collection, but there are quite a few magazines in very good condition.

Area 42 Games Book Drive

Do you have old books sitting around that you know you will never read again? You know, those science fiction or fantasy paperbacks holding a door open or that extra copy of Harry Potter that you got so you didn't have to wait to read it until your significant other was done? Yes, those books.

RIP Martin Bosworth

I first met Martin through the Night Falls LARP and I cannot recall exactly when. He managed to always be very interesting which is hard to do in a crowd full of interesting people. Always well spoken, always generous and always remembered.

Dicey the Dice Roller for Waves

When I first saw what Wave was all about I immediately set about to use it for playing role playing games. What does (almost) every RPG need? You guessed it, dice.

Introducing "Dicey" the dice rolling robot for Google Wave. If you already have access to Wave all you need to do is invite "area42dice@appspot.com" to your wave and then he'll pay attention to what you are typing. When you ask him to roll some dice for you he will take a moment, roll the dice and tell you the results. How do you ask him?
