Would people be interested in a game that tells you who is playing, but not who is playing each country? So instead of seeing the players name you would just see the country name?

New Diplomacy game created...

Would it be more interesting to have a computer AI play the role of the countries that are not played by humans. Rather than have them just be in civil disorder and always just issue hold actions.

I think that such a thing could be developed pretty easily, and might be a lot of fun (to write) and it would spice up those 5 and 6 player games. Heck, you could even have fun 3 player games with 4 AIs to fight against.

Thoughts?

I just noticed that my profile says I'm currently playing 3 games, which is not correct. One of the three games is completed. We just called a draw in one of my other two, so in a few minutes I should have one currently playing, and two completed games, we'll see if my profile gets updated correctly or not.

Is the Active Games tab supposed to show ALL active games? For me it only shows "Other Active Games" by which I mean, active games that I'm not playing.

btw - i did not get any indication that i was CD, or that the game was drawn or over. any of that would have been good. even an email one hour before CD would be good.

I need some ideas for what to do at game end for losers and winners both. Right now all that happens is the game ends and it no longer shows up in your game list.

I want more than that, but I also want ideas for what should happen!

I really didn't like the red 'x' for unfinalized orders. So now we have an orange ball. What do you all think?

It might be a little annoying, but you will have to have a separate account for Area 42 proper and Area 42 Diplomacy. Please, if at all possible, use the same user name for both. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the Diplomacy games user list who does not also have a corresponding account on www.area42games.com

Since we are supposed to be beta testing this stuff I would like to file a bug report.

The header at the top of this page does not match the header of the main Area 42 page. The logo on the top left appears slightly shorter and the horizontal line that separates the red area at the top from the rest of the page takes a strange pair of 90 deg turns as it crosses the middle of the page.

Since the games cancel out if there aren't at least 5 players and I want to get a valid full game in before declaring this installation good, can we have at least 5 people reply to this message that they will join a game? Thanks!
